James Momodu Fornah-Sesay Esq. is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone with over 18 years standing at the Bar in Sierra Leone. He is the founder, Head of Chambers and Managing Partner of Fornah-Sesay, Cummings & Co (formerly Fornah-Sessay, Cummings, Showers & Co.), a premier Law Firm in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Mr. Fornah-Sesay has supervised the professional training of over 30 Pupil Barristers in Sierra Leone. He is a full-time Lecturer at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. He currently serves as Post-Graduate Course Co-ordinator and Head, of the Department of Constitutionalism, Criminal Justice and Human Rights, Faculty of Law, Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
Additionally, Mr James Fornah-Sesay has served as Chairman of the Income Tax Board of Appellate Commissioners (ITBAC); Director of Law Enforcement at the National Protected Area Authority (NPAA), in Sierra Leone and Acting Executive Director of the NPAA; and Board Member of the Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone.
Mr. James Momodu Fornah-Sesay has an impressive record in both Civil and Criminal practice in the Superior Courts of Judicature, in Sierra Leone. His legal practice areas include Property Law, Family Law, Contract Law, Employment Law, Business Ethics, Criminal Law, Corporate & Business Law, and Environmental Law.
